Faster 5k Program

In this 8-week program you will improve your 5k time, get stronger, and reduce your chances of injury.

This program contains cross training, interval training, and progressive distance running. You can expect to safely progress to a faster 5k time by the end of the program. This is for anyone who has run in the past and/or are looking to increase their speed and confidence in their 5k.

 

What to expect:

How it works:

Day 1 - Upper Push / Lower Pull

Day 2 - Lower Push / Upper Pull

Day 3 - Upper Push / Lower Pull

Day 4 - Lower Push / Upper Pull

Day 5 - Long Run

 

Each 60 minute workout includes:

  1. Warm-up
  2. Strength training
  3. ESD (Energy System Development)
  4. Cool-down
