The Elite Jump System Pro is designed to take your vertical jump, speed and explosiveness to the next level to dominate your sport, whether on the court or field. 


This Program is for intermediate and advanced athletes who have prior experience in resistance training.

 

Program Duration: This vertical jump program contains 20 weeks of progressive programming of plyometrics, vertical jump technique, lower body strength, mobility, stability, balance, core and upper body training designed to maximize vertical jump performance and injury prevention. This program has various exercise alternatives, regressions, and progressions that you could do the program multiple times and it would feel like you're doing a new program, all while you're continuing to progress in gaining inches on your vertical jump..

 

Workout Frequency: This program has 5 workouts days per week, 3 lower body, plyometric and/ or speed focused days and 2 days focused on mobility, stability, core and upper body. Yes, upper body exercises are included in this program and these upper body exercises are actually programmed and designed to help improve your body's movement quality and ability to absorb and produce force.

 

Exercise video guidance: Receive in-depth video description for each exercise as well as  sets, reps, and week-to-week and month-to-month progressions. 

 

Performance Recovery and Nutrition Guidance: We need to recover just as hard as we train to be successful. Get guidance on the recovery and nutrition methods and strategies specific to each training phase that will help maximize your recovery throughout the program. 

 

Recommended Equipment: Need access to a commercial or private gym, and investing in resistance bands is recommended.

Phase 1:

 

Vertical Foundation - 4 weeks

Build the foundation that will help prepare the body for the explosive vertical jump that will be developed in the phases to come. Here in this phase we will be focusing on introducing and developing the stretch shortening cycle, extensive (low intensity) plyometrics and strength training focused on developing work capacity which is vital for developing our muscles and tendons. 

 

Phase 2:

 

Ignite - 4 weeks

Ignite your nervous system and teach your body how to be explosive. Here in this phase we will be progressing our plyometrics by using a more elastic and faster stretch shortening cycle and will be teaching our nervous system to maximally recruit fast twitch muscle fibers to really start developing our explosive potential.

 

Explosive Vert - 4 weeks

Increase your max force output and take your explosiveness to the next level. In this phase we will build off of what we did in the ignite phase by progress our plyometrics and introducing concentric focused power training (starting power) and max strength training to really apply that improved nervous system activation and take our explosiveness to the next level.

 

Phase 3:

 

Spring - 4 weeks

Become a more elastic athlete by developing your ability to absorb and release energy (like a spring) for a more explosive vertical jump. In this phase we will be focusing on developing our ability to absorb rapid eccentric forces and redirect that energy with high intensity plyometrics and power training. 

 

Peak Vert - 4 weeks

Fine tune your springs and take your vertical jump to its peak performance. In this phase we are building off what we did in the spring phase but now we are also focusing on our concentric force output along with our eccentric force absorption with resisted jumps and partial strength training. We will also be fine tuning our jump technique so that we could really maximize our vertical jump performance.
