The Elite Jump System Freshman is a body weight plyometric program designed to help beginners improve their vertical jump, speed and quickness and change in direction explosiveness.
This program is for beginner athletes with no or limited experience in plyometric training. Great for youth and high school athletes and inexperienced recreational athletes.
Program Duration: This vertical jump program contains 12 weeks of progressive programming of plyometrics, vertical jump technique, body weight strength, mobility, stability and core training designed to maximize vertical jump performance and injury prevention.
Workout Frequency: This program has 5 workouts days per week, 3 lower body, plyometric and/ or acceleration focused days and 2 days focused on mobility, stability, balance and core.
Exercise video guidance: Receive in-depth video descriptions for each exercise as well as sets, reps, and week-to-week and month-to-month progressions.
Recommended Equipment: No equipment needed, you can use dumbbells or a weight vest but you don't need any equipment to complete the program.

This program will be delivered through the BridgeAthletic app and you will be added to my organization! Within Bridge, you'll be able to track all your training to clearly view your progress throughout the program. You will have access to this program for 8 MONTHS, so you can complete it multiple times to maximize your vertical jump, speed and multi-directional explosiveness gains.
In this phase you will developing the basics of plyometrics such as jump and landing mechanics and techniques, extensive (low intensity) plyometrics.
In this phase you will get an intro utilizing the stretch shortening cycle to improve your explosiveness. Develop and master the more mechanical and slower stretch shortening cycle and the more elastic and faster stretch shortening cycle.
In this phase you will be progressing your plyometrics to develop the more intense and faster stretch shortening cycle. Here you will be developing the ability to absorb rapid eccentric forces and redirect that energy for a more explosive jump.
